Baked Apple Chips

Baked Apple Chips

When you have a few 5 gallon buckets of apples left towards the end of the season, you start experimenting with all sorts of different apple recipes to use them up! I’ve been meaning to try making apple chips for awhile now because I have bought them from the grocery store before, and they were pretty tasty.

Well the homemade ones are even better! No joke, you guys- the apple chips barely lasted long enough for me to  take a picture to put up here. I am officially addicted!

The plain ones are delicious, and the cinnamon-sugar ones are even better. And the best part is that it takes maybe 5-10 mins of prep, and then just pop them in the oven for a couple of hours, and BAM- awesome. healthy. snack.

Enjoy everyone! I’ll be making another batch tomorrow. 🙂

Slice apples very thin to get crispy apple chips. If you don’t have a slicer, use a sharp knife.

Put in a single layer on baking sheet.

Sprinkle with Cinnamon and Sugar if you want. This is my new favorite “healthy treat.”
